Store and Privacy Policy


California law does not provide for a “Cooling Off” or other cancellation period for Furniture Sales. Subject to management approval you have 24 hours from the date of Delivery or Pick-up to return your furniture, products must be in original packaging.

All returns or cancellations are subject to a 25% handling fee. Refund are granted in the form of Store Credit only. An additional pick-up charge will apply.

All Special Orders, Promotional and ‘AS IS’ items are Final Sale. No exceptions.

A storage fee of $75 per month will apply to any order held for over 30 days from the Date of Purchase.


Rapport offers a One Year Limited Warranty, to the original purchaser, against manufacturer defects towards labor and materials or replacement. Natural wear and tear on fabrics, leathers, metal finishes, as well as promotional or ‘AS IS’ merchandise are excluded. Please contact our Warehouse office at 323.933.4242 with any questions.


Rapport offers White Glove Delivery service within the state of California. For all out of state purchases or purchases utalizing a third party shipping service, the following policies apply: 

Rapport will not release any items unless Full Transport and optional Product Insurance is purchased.

Rapport is not responsible for damage caused during transportation. Any claims must be handled with carrier/shipper.

Rapport inspects all items being shipped by an outside courier. Notice of 4-5 business days is required before picking up. Please contact your Design Consultant or the Rapport Warehouse at 323.933.4242 to arrange a date.



Wood and Veneer

Wood and veneer are affected by light. For the first 6-8 weeks, when the item is first absorbing the surrounding light, keep its surfaces clear of any objects or decorations. It is possible that uneven light absorption could result in permanent marks and circles. New furniture will also need time to absorb light before it will match the tone of your existing furniture.

Water is only to be used in small quantities an only in the form of a damp cloth. After wiping, always wipe dry with a dry cloth.

No polish or oil treatment of any form should be used.

Wood and veneer are very sensitive to liquids. Therefore, wipe up all spilled liquids immediately.

Always try to remove stains with the mildest cleaning materials.


Protect leather from direct sunlight and heat sources.

For general cleaning, use only a soft dry cloth.

If necessary, wipe or lightly rub the whole surface with a clean, soft cloth wrung in soapy water.

If vacuum cleaning, use a soft brush nozzle to avoid scratching the surface.

Leather Cleaners and Conditioners are highly recommended.


Cushions with a filling of foam/feathers should be shaken regularly to ensure form stability.

Expect a ‘breaking in’ period for your new sofa. The cushion fillings need time and use to stabilize to a point where they are smooth and comfortable.

All leathers and fabrics will stretch during use. To achieve best comfort, covers cannot fit too tightly. Therefore, some creasing may occur. This is not considered a defect.

Vacuum frequently (once a week).


Rapport International Furniture ("Rapport") collects Customer information for the purposes of customer contact, marketing purposes, and security for payment. The Customer is asked to provide and consent to Rapport collecting such accurate, complete, and current personal information as is necessary for these purposes and acknowledges that this information was collected in a fair and lawful manner. Rapport and its affiliates, agents, employees, and suppliers respect the privacy of the Customer’s personal information. Rapport shall protect the Customer’s information with security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal information. This personal information will only be used by Rapport and its affiliates, agents, employees, and suppliers for the purposes it was collected, except with the consent of the Customer or as required by law. Rapport shall only retain such personal information for as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose for which it was collected. The Customer may, upon request, obtain further information about Rapport's privacy policy and its management of personal information. The Customer may also, subject to limited exceptions, request information regarding the existence, use, and disclosure by Rapport of his or her personal information. The Customer may also amend his or her personal information to ensure completeness and accuracy. Rapport reserves the right to block any customer review using inappropriate language or content.
